This blog has been originally intended to host my impressions on learning languages, my interest. But I might as well make use of it to communicate my other thoughts...in any language...that I know now :)

Prior to my cousin's wedding last April was vanity trip.
On Easter Sunday, we again didn't attend mass in Bacood but
in SM Megamall. This time, I was searching for an MP4 to help me with
my language lessons. Anyway, my nephew had a grand time playing at
the food court.
As the next day was a non-working holiday because of Araw ng
Kagitingan, my mother and I again went shopping, which included buying
films and tapes for the wedding. I also bought some make-up that I
could use for the wedding. That afternoon, my mother, sister and I
went to SM Sta. Mesa to buy our wedding gifts.
A few days later, I had a free haircut from David Salon
because the OP-Cultural Affairs Committee and Salon Owners and
Hairdressers Association, Inc. conducted a Libreng Gupit sa
Malacanang.

My nephew Ardi was pseudo Bible bearer. I had to guide him
because he only wanted to walk with me :)
Right after my cousin's wedding, I had to rush to Makati to
take my final examination in German 7. I didn't eat anything at the
reception so I was so hungry when I got to Makati from Violago Homes
Parkwoods. I had a very quick lunch in KFC at the Ayala station of
MRT.
Of all the examinations I've taken, this was the first exam
where I wasn't really prepared as I didn't have any time to review.
Aside from the wedding, it had been a busy week of work and studies.
I had my final exam in French the Wednesday that week, too. So the
only review I had was to browse through my small German dictionary
while I was commuting from Quezon City to Makati.
My classmates decided to order pizza and soft drinks to
celebrate the end of class. I forgot that I suffer from hyperacidity
whenever I take soft drinks.
I don't eat pizza, so, to humor me and as our final outing
that term, my classmate and friend Jackie treated me and Frau Fe to
Dulcinea in Glorietta. We also ate there sometime in March. But even
while we were eating there, I could hardly keep my eyes open because I
slept late the night before and woke up early in preparation for the
wedding. I was out like a light when I got home in Bacood.
Early the next day, I returned to Violago Homes Parkwoods to
get my mother and my sister and of course, to catch up with my cousins
whom I rarely see.
We attended the 5pm mass there and had to rush again because
I had a 7pm get-together with my high school classmates at Grilla in
Makati. It was past 1am when I finally got home.
And then ended my very busy week and began my quite
expensive out-of-town-weekend-outings :)

I am really quite slow. My sister and her family moved to Bacoor, Cavite today but it didn’t hit me until late tonight.

Election Day. My Tita Del, mother and I went to Bacood
As we traverse my old school's corridors, I was reminded of
my elementary school days. The second floor area where we voted was
near my grade 4 classroom. I remember that the stairs we ascended was
the same stairs that our grade 4 homeroom teacher ordered us to ascend
kneeling because of a forgotten offense. My homeroom teacher was
quite strict but known for her brilliance. I don't think that I would
be quite what I am today without her confidence in my intelligence and
abilities and her guidance.

My younger sister Tet and nephew Ardi left for a one week
It's quite hard to see them leave home, and know that she'd
be facing hardships by herself there. But on a positive note, she'd
learn to be more independent. Hopefully, she won't have too much
headaches with her nanny and new surroundings.
My mother and I intend to move to Violago Parkwoods by year's
end, too. Hopefully, San Lorenzo Ruiz Builders will finally honor its
promise to file the papers for the PAG-IBIG take-out of our lot. It
has been 10 years since I bought the lot, five years since I finished
the equity and nothing has been done yet. I have many cousins living
there now, albeit, also with problems on their house and lots. Even
my friends in HUDCC find our situation with this developer
frustrating. I've given up criticizing its incompetence and the lies
it fed us. We just hope that this year, we'd get what we paid for
(and they charged high interest rate, too).
Anyway, nothing happens without a reason. I just hope that
everything will turn out well for all of us.
